Hello CybersecurityUW,

We hope you are getting into the swing of things this semester, we also have set the date for our second meeting.

On Thursday February 15th in Computer Science 1240 from 5:30 - 7:00 we will be using Shodan to hack IoT devices to set houses on fire. What is Shodan? Shodan is a search engine that allows for search on different types of servers to find anything connected to the internet. Therefore, Shodan is a network scanning service. Other types of network scanning services are Wireshark and Nmap.

We hope to see you there!

Best, Cybersecurity UW Leadership Team
