Posted November 12, 2025 by Noah Lessard ‐ 1 min read
Hello CybersecurityUW,
Our next meeting will be an introduction to steganography and file splicing. We will be covering a brief overview on what steganography and file splicing is, file signatures and file types, and different tools used in file splicing (Binwalk). We will also have fun demos and interactive activities for you to get experience with the material, so please bring your computers if you want to participate! Both beginners and enthusiasts are welcome, so don’t hesitate to come alone or with friends :)
We will be meeting on Wednesday, November 12th 6-7pm at Morgridge Hall Jeffrey Naughton Classroom (2nd Floor).
Best, Cybersecurity UW Leadership Team
